Victory to you, Shiva, the form of the primal sound Om. Brahma, Vishnu, and the Eternal Shiva — you bear your consort as half of your own form (the Ardhanarishvara form).

एकानन चतुरानन पंचानन राजे। हंसासन गरुड़ासन वृषवाहन साजे॥

Ekanan Chaturanan Panchanan Raje, Hansasan Garudasan Vrishvahan Saje.

You shine as the one-faced, four-faced (Brahma), and five-faced (Shiva) forms, adorned upon the swan, the eagle Garuda, and the bull Nandi.

दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज दस भुज अति सोहे। त्रिगुण रूप निरखते त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥

Do Bhuj Chaar Chaturbhuj Das Bhuj Ati Sohe, Trigun Roop Nirakhate Tribhuvan Jan Mohe.

With two arms, four arms, ten arms, you appear magnificent. Beholding your three-fold (Trigun) form, the people of all three worlds are enchanted.

अक्षमाला वनमाला मुण्डमाला धारी। त्रिपुरारी कंसारी कर माला धारी॥

Akshamala Vanmala Mundmala Dhari, Tripurari Kansari Kar Mala Dhari.

You wear a rosary, forest garland, and garland of skulls; O destroyer of Tripurasura and of Kansa, a rosary rests in your hand.

श्वेताम्बर पीताम्बर बाघम्बर अंगे। सनकादिक गरुणादिक भूतादिक संगे॥

Shwetambar Pitambar Baghambar Ange, Sanakadik Garunadik Bhootadik Sange.

White-robed, yellow-robed, tiger-skin-clad — sages like Sanaka, beings like Garuda, and spirit-attendants accompany you.

कर के मध्य कमण्डलु चक्र त्रिशूलधारी। सुखकारी दुखहारी जगपालनकारी॥

Kar Ke Madhya Kamandalu Chakra Trishuldhari, Sukhkari Dukhhari Jagpalankari.

In your hands you hold the water-pot, discus, and trident; you are the giver of joy, remover of sorrow, and sustainer of the world.

ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव जानत अविवेका। प्रणवाक्षर में शोभित ये तीनों एका॥

Brahma Vishnu Sadashiva Janat Aviveka, Pranavakshar Mein Shobhit Ye Teenon Eka.

Only the unwise think of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva as separate — within the sacred syllable Om, these three are one.

त्रिगुण स्वामी जी की आरती जो कोई नर गावे। कहत शिवानन्द स्वामी सुख सम्पत्ति पावे॥

Trigun Swami Ji Ki Aarti Jo Koi Nar Gaave, Kahat Shivanand Swami Sukh Sampatti Paave.

Whoever sings this aarti of the three-fold Lord — says Swami Shivanand — attains happiness and prosperity.

ओम जय लक्ष्मी माता, मैया जय लक्ष्मी माता। तुमको निशिदिन सेवत, हरि विष्णु विधाता॥

Uma Rama Brahmani, Tum Hi Jag-Mata, Surya-Chandrama Dhyavat, Naarad Rishi Gata.

You are Uma, Rama, and Brahmani — you alone are Mother of the world; the Sun and Moon meditate on you, and sage Narada sings your glory.

दुर्गा रुप निरंजनी, सुख सम्पत्ति दाता। जो कोई तुमको ध्यावत, ऋद्धि-सिद्धि धन पाता॥

Durga Roop Niranjani, Sukh Sampatti Data, Jo Koi Tumako Dhyavat, Riddhi-Siddhi Dhan Pata.

In your pure form as Durga, you grant happiness and wealth; whoever meditates on you gains spiritual powers and riches.

तुम पाताल-निवासिनि, तुम ही शुभदाता। कर्म-प्रभाव-प्रकाशिनी, भवनिधि की त्राता॥

Tum Patal-Nivasini, Tum Hi Shubhdata, Karma-Prabhav-Prakashini, Bhavanidhi Ki Trata.

You dwell in the netherworld, you alone bestow auspiciousness; you reveal the fruits of one’s deeds, and you save us across the ocean of existence.

जिस घर में तुम रहतीं, सब सद्गुण आता। सब सम्भव हो जाता, मन नहीं घबराता॥

Jis Ghar Mein Tum Rahti, Sab Sadgun Aata, Sab Sambhav Ho Jata, Man Nahi Ghabrata.

Whichever home you reside in, all virtues gather there; everything becomes possible, and the mind never fears.

तुम बिन यज्ञ न होते, वस्त्र न कोई पाता। खान-पान का वैभव, सब तुमसे आता॥

Tum Bin Yagya Na Hote, Vastra Na Koi Pata, Khan-Pan Ka Vaibhav, Sab Tumase Aata.

Without you no sacred ritual succeeds, no one obtains fine clothing; all abundance of food and drink comes from you.

शुभ-गुण मंदिर सुंदर, क्षीरोदधि-जाता। रत्न चतुर्दश तुम बिन, कोई नहीं पाता॥

Shubh-Gun Mandir Sundar, Kshirodadhi-Jata, Ratna Chaturdash Tum Bin, Koi Nahi Pata.

Beautiful abode of auspicious virtues, born of the Ocean of Milk — without you, none can obtain the fourteen sacred jewels (of that churning).

महालक्ष्मीजी की आरती, जो कोई जन गाता। उर आनन्द समाता, पाप उतर जाता॥

Mahalakshmi Ji Ki Aarti, Jo Koi Jan Gata, Ur Anand Samata, Paap Utar Jata.

Whoever sings this aarti of Mahalakshmi, their heart fills with bliss, and their sins fall away.

जय गणेश जय गणेश, जय गणेश देवा। माता जाकी पार्वती, पिता महादेवा॥

एक दंत दयावंत, चार भुजाधारी। माथे पर तिलक सोहे, मूसे की सवारी॥

Ek Dant Dayavant, Char Bhujadhari, Mathe Par Tilak Sohe, Muse Ki Savari.

One-tusked, compassionate one, bearer of four arms; a sacred mark shines on your forehead, your steed is the mouse.

पान चढ़े फूल चढ़े, और चढ़े मेवा। लड्डुअन का भोग लगे, संत करें सेवा॥

Paan Chadhe Phool Chadhe, Aur Chadhe Mewa, Laddu-an Ka Bhog Lage, Sant Karein Seva.

Betel leaf, flowers, and dried fruits are offered; laddus are offered as sacred food, and saints render their devotion.

अंधन को आंख देत, कोढ़िन को काया। बांझन को पुत्र देत, निर्धन को माया॥

Andhan Ko Aankh Det, Kodhin Ko Kaya, Banjhan Ko Putra Det, Nirdhan Ko Maya.

You give sight to the blind, a healthy body to the afflicted; a son to the childless, and wealth to the poor.

'सूर' श्याम शरण आए, सफल कीजे सेवा।

'Sur' Shyam Sharan Aaye, Saphal Kije Seva.

(The devotee) Surdas has come to your refuge — please make this devotion fruitful.

दीनन की लाज राखो, शंभु सुतकारी। कामना को पूर्ण करो, जग बलिहारी॥

Deenan Ki Laaj Rakho, Shambhu Sutakari, Kamana Ko Purna Karo, Jag Balihari.

Preserve the honor of the humble, O son of Shambhu (Shiva); fulfill our wishes — the whole world is devoted to you.

जय अम्बे गौरी, मैया जय श्यामा गौरी। तुमको निशिदिन ध्यावत, हरि ब्रह्मा शिवरी॥

Jai Ambe Gauri, Maiya Jai Shyama Gauri, Tumako Nishidin Dhyavat, Hari Brahma Shivri.

Victory to Mother Ambe, victory to Shyama Gauri! Hari, Brahma, and Shiva meditate on you, day and night.

मांग सिंदूर विराजत, टीको मृगमद को। उज्ज्वल से दोउ नैना, चंद्रवदन नीको॥

Maang Sindoor Virajat, Tiko Mrigmad Ko, Ujjwal Se Dou Naina, Chandravadan Neeko.

Vermilion adorns your hair-parting, musk forms your brow-mark; your two eyes shine bright, your face beautiful as the moon.

कनक समान कलेवर, रक्ताम्बर राजै। रक्तपुष्प गल माला, कंठन पर साजै॥

Kanak Saman Kalevar, Raktambar Rajai, Raktapushp Gal Mala, Kanthan Par Sajai.

Your form gleams like gold, robed in red; a garland of red flowers graces your neck.

केहरि वाहन राजत, खड्ग खप्पर धारी। सुर-नर-मुनिजन सेवत, तिनके दुखहारी॥

Kehri Vahan Rajat, Khadag Khappar Dhari, Sur-Nar-Munijan Sevat, Tinke Dukhahari.

You are enthroned on a lion, bearing sword and skull-bowl; gods, humans, and sages serve you, and you remove their sorrows.

कानन कुण्डल शोभित, नासाग्रे मोती। कोटिक चंद्र दिवाकर, सम राजत ज्योती॥

Kanan Kundal Shobhit, Nasagre Moti, Kotik Chandra Divakar, Sam Rajat Jyoti.

Earrings adorn your ears, a pearl the tip of your nose; your radiance equals millions of moons and suns.

शुंभ-निशुंभ बिदारे, महिषासुर घाती। धूम्र विलोचन नैना, निशदिन मदमाती॥

Shumbh-Nishumbh Bidare, Mahishasur Ghati, Dhoomra Vilochan Naina, Nishidin Madmati.

You tore apart Shumbha and Nishumbha, and slew Mahishasura; ever powerful, your eyes blaze in this fierce form.

चण्ड-मुण्ड संहारे, शोणित बीज हरे। मधु-कैटभ दोउ मारे, सुर भयहीन करे॥

Chanda-Munda Sanhare, Shonit Beej Hare, Madhu-Kaitabh Dou Mare, Sur Bhayaheen Kare.

You destroyed Chanda and Munda, and ended the demon Raktabija; you slew both Madhu and Kaitabha, freeing the gods from fear.

ब्रह्माणी, रूद्राणी, तुम कमला रानी। आगम निगम बखानी, तुम शिव पटरानी॥

Brahmani, Rudrani, Tum Kamla Rani, Agam Nigam Bakhani, Tum Shiv Patrani.

You are Brahmani, Rudrani, and Queen Kamala (Lakshmi); the scriptures describe you as Shiva’s consort-queen.

चौंसठ योगिनी मंगल गावत, नृत्य करत भैरों। बाजत ताल मृदंगा, अरू बाजत डमरू॥

Chaunsath Yogini Mangal Gavat, Nritya Karat Bhairon, Bajat Taal Mridanga, Aru Bajat Damru.

The sixty-four Yoginis sing auspicious songs, Bhairava dances; cymbals and drums resound, and the damru plays.

तुम ही जग की माता, तुम ही हो भरता। भक्तन की दुख हरता, सुख सम्पत्ति करता॥

Tum Hi Jag Ki Mata, Tum Hi Ho Bharta, Bhaktan Ki Dukh Harta, Sukh Sampatti Karta.

You alone are Mother of the world, you alone its sustainer; you remove your devotees’ sorrows and grant them happiness and prosperity.

भुजा चार अति शोभित, खड्ग खप्पर धारी। मनवांछित फल पावत, सेवत नर नारी॥

Bhuja Chaar Ati Shobhit, Khadag Khappar Dhari, Manvanchhit Phal Pavat, Sevat Nar Nari.

Your four arms shine gloriously, bearing sword and skull-bowl; the men and women who serve you receive their heart’s desire.

कंचन थाल विराजत, अगर कपूर बाती। श्री मालकेतु में राजत, कोटि रतन ज्योती॥

Kanchan Thaal Virajat, Agar Kapoor Baati, Shri Malketu Mein Rajat, Koti Ratan Jyoti.

A golden plate holds the incense and camphor flame; you shine at your abode with the light of countless jewels.

श्री अंबेजी की आरती, जो कोई नर गावे। कहत शिवानंद स्वामी, सुख-सम्पत्ति पावे॥
