The verse below ("Shuklambaradharam...") is a generic obstacle-removal invocation commonly prefixed to many stotras — it is not exclusive to the Vishnu Sahasranama.

शुक्लाम्बरधरं विष्णुं शशिवर्णं चतुर्भुजम्। प्रसन्नवदनं ध्यायेत् सर्वविघ्नोपशान्तये॥

Shuklambaradharam Vishnum shashivarnam chaturbhujam, Prasannavadanam dhyayet sarvavighnopashantaye.

One should meditate on the white-robed, moon-hued, four-armed Vishnu, of serene countenance, for the pacification of all obstacles.

शान्ताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशं विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम्। लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यं वन्दे विष्णुं भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम्॥

Shantakaram bhujagashayanam padmanabham suresham vishvadharam gaganasadrisham meghavarnam shubhangam, Lakshmikantam kamalanayanam yogibhirdhyanagamyam vande Vishnum bhavabhayaharam sarvalokaikanatham.

I bow to Vishnu — of peaceful form, reclining on the serpent, lotus-naveled, Lord of the gods, support of the universe, sky-vast, cloud-hued, beloved of Lakshmi, lotus-eyed, attainable by yogis through meditation, remover of worldly fear, sole Lord of all worlds.
