Fasts and observances that follow the lunar calendar, with their next dates.
Vrats are fasts and observances tied to the lunar calendar: Ekadashi on the eleventh tithi of each fortnight, Pradosh on the thirteenth, Sankashti Chaturthi on the fourth tithi of the waning Moon, and so on. Because a tithi is set by the angle between the Sun and the Moon, the dates move every month.
Each page lists the next dates computed from the Panchang for New Delhi (IST), with the time the tithi ends. In other cities a date can occasionally fall a day earlier or later.
